Drawn from the official spin-off novel Neon Genesis Evangelion ANIMA, Unit-02 Type II is a heavily rebuilt form of EVA Unit-02. Finished in a vivid deep crimson with multi-layered red shading, metallic accents and fine tampo-printed markings, it brings the novel's elongated proportions and razor-sharp silhouette fully into three dimensions.
An internal alloy skeleton uses metal parts at the main load-bearing joints, hip roots and feet, giving the figure a stable centre of gravity together with exceptional articulation — reproducing the natural motion of human bone and muscle for a wide range of dynamic combat poses.
