Plannosaurus Parasaurolophus

Plannosaurus Parasaurolophus

The Parasaurolophus was a hadrosaur of the Late Cretaceous. The long tubular crest sweeping back from its head contains hollow passages, generally believed to have been used to produce sound for communication.

Plannosaurus (プラノサウルス) is BANDAI's dinosaur model kit series, supervised by the Gunma Museum of Natural History. Its defining feature is that you build the skeleton first, then wrap it in the skin: once assembled, the outer skin can be opened up so you can look back at the bone structure inside at any time — playful and educational at the same time.

• Two-layer skeleton → skin construction; the outer skin opens to display the internal frame
• No glue and no painting required; parts come pre-coloured
• Supervised by the Gunma Museum of Natural History; includes a dedicated display base
