Plannosaurus Therizinosaurus

Plannosaurus Therizinosaurus

The Therizinosaurus was a theropod dinosaur of the Late Cretaceous. Its forelimbs bore giant claws nearly 1 metre long — the longest claws of any known animal — yet it was actually a plant eater.

Plannosaurus (プラノサウルス) is BANDAI's dinosaur model kit series, supervised by the Gunma Museum of Natural History. Its defining feature is that you build the skeleton first, then wrap it in the skin: once assembled, the outer skin can be opened up so you can look back at the bone structure inside at any time — playful and educational at the same time.

• Two-layer skeleton → skin construction; the outer skin opens to display the internal frame
• No glue and no painting required; parts come pre-coloured
• Supervised by the Gunma Museum of Natural History; includes a dedicated display base
